Don't be a Poo Head

New Year’s from Times Square!

Written By: nikihart - Jan• 04•11

I got to see the ball drop in Times Square this New Year’s!  It only took 11yrs. to accomplish, but I can now check it off my not-yet-written Bucket List.  Writing a Bucket List is #1 on my Bucket List.

Growing up my “big plan” was to welcome in the new millennium in Times Square.  Instead, on New Year’s Eve 1999, I was at some lame party in Kansas at a friend of a friend of a friend’s trailer house.  Not the magical evening I had anticipated.

But this year was.  My husband and I went to a friend’s office building that is near Times Square and we had an amazing view of the ball from his office.  It was so much better than standing in the crowd 17 floors below us where it was cold, you can’t drink alcohol, and there were no bathrooms.  I was so excited when the countdown began, I almost forgot to watch the ball!  It fell, the 2011 sign light up, and I kissed my husband.  It was perfect.  An amazing start to the New Year.

I am a Poohead. I come from a long line of Pooheads. Some of my best friends are Pooheads. Despite your apparent bigotry toward all things Poohead, I defy you to to remove this post as I have said nothing negative what-so-ever. A very belated Happy New Year to you, my good woman, and may 2011 open your mind to all the good that Pooheads have contributed to our society.

  2. The next time I learn a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I imply, I know it was my option to learn, but I actually thought youd have something attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you would repair if you happen to werent too busy looking for attention.

Graco Mosaic Travel: Everyone who writes a blog is looking for attention in some way, as is everyone who comments. And P.S. you don’t “learn a blog”, you read or write one.
